How We Help

How we help

Annual events

We also make frequent contributions to local non-profits such as the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities and others. Our board of directors meets monthly and reviews all requests we receive for financial assistance. We often will contribute to individuals in need, with our emphasis first and foremost going toward kids and adults experiencing speech and hearing difficulties and efforts to enhance American patriotism.

Our club also provides “sweat equity” through various annual and one-time projects. We are a part of the “Adopt a Highway” program, as twice a year we clean up a stretch of Country Road 136 south of Oak Hill School. We’ve helped put up holiday decorations at the Quiet Oaks Hospice House. Our club has donated time and money to the Miracle League program in St. Cloud. We’ve regularly rungs bells for the Salvation Army, and we’ve hit the lanes for the Big Brothers Big Sister “Bowl for Kids Sake” event.

We also offer individuals and groups the opportunity to speak to our club and to share their stories during our weekly club luncheon meetings. If you’d like the chance to do that feel free to reach out to us through the “Contact” page on this website.
